Thank you for using Pictec, a service operated by Lightib LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). This Refund Policy explains how we handle refunds for credits purchased on our platform.

1. Credits

Pictec operates on a credit-based system. Credits are prepaid digital value used to pay for image processing jobs (such as image enhancement, virtual staging, item removal, etc.) within the Pictec platform.

2. Refund Eligibility

We consider refund requests in the following situations:

  • Unused Credits: If you have purchased credits and have not used them, you may request a refund within 14 days of the purchase date.
  • Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same transaction due to a technical error.
  • Billing Errors: If there is a demonstrable error in the amount charged to your payment method.

3. Non-refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Used Credits: Credits that have already been applied to process jobs are non-refundable.
  • Processed Jobs: We do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with the subjective artistic results of the AI processing (e.g., style preference), provided the system functioned as described. We encourage users to use the free trial or low-volume packs to test the service first.

4. Chargebacks

If you have an issue with a charge, please contact our support team first before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing issues amicably. Unjustified chargebacks may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email our support team at [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request". Please include the following details to help us process your request quickly:

  • Your account email address
  • Invoice number or Transaction ID
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for the refund request

6. Processing Timeframes

We review refund requests within 5-7 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original method of payment. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to post the refund to your account.

7. Taxes

Refunds will exclude any taxes paid where applicable, unless the tax is also refundable under local law.
